Curriculum Overview

A Commitment to Excellence

Jr. Medics aims to offer students a broad program that provides stimulating activities and hands-on training to prepare them to respond safely in the event of real-life emergency situations.

Our program is structured as two one-hour sessions. In order to ensure our workshops are age and stage appropriate, we offer two curriculums: our Junior curriculum is tailored for students in grades 1 to 4, while our Senior curriculum is tailored for students in grades 5 to 8.

The first workshop covers first aid basics, choking, head injuries, and anaphylaxis. The second workshop covers general injuries (cuts, breaks, burns), injury prevention, and an introduction to careers in healthcare. In all workshops, emphasis is placed on personal safety and getting help in case of an emergency.
